The Ride

The annual Triple Crown for Heart ride is a unique cycling challenge to conquer all three North Shore mountains (Seymour, Grouse and Cypress) in a single day. Since its launch in 2010 the event has been a success for all who have participated, and we have met or surpassed fundraising goals for our chosen charities every year.

Our goal is to raise funds for the cardiac inpatient unit and associated ward (T6), at BC Children’s Hospital to help them continue providing expert care for the province’s most seriously ill or injured children, including newborns and adolescents. We also raise funds each year for Camp Summit, the children’s and teens’ heart camp at Camp Zajac..

Please note that this event is not a race but a sporting activity meant for riders to challenge themselves, enjoy the camaraderie of fellow cyclists, and supporta great cause.

The ride is 75km in length which includes about 2,300 metres of popular climbs up the three North Shore mountains, all done in one day.  Riders do, however, have the option of choosing to rideone, two or all three mountains.

We hope to see you on this July!
